Assisting Internal Auditor for Tax Audit. VAT - Complete all VAT related accounting activities upon which VAT returns depend, including control checks of transaction data and review of supporting tax documentation to identify any errors or anomalies. WHT(Taxation) - Payments made from a resident party or a permeant establishment to a non-resident party for services performed are subject to WHT. Excise Taxation - Calculate the excise tax items and intimate to ZATCA. GL Reconciliation- On a regular basis, general ledger accountants reconcile accounts with the general ledger. Processing payroll - This involves calculating employees pay based on days worked, deductions, taxes and relevant benefits. Accounts Receivable - Work with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure client payments. Accounts Payable - Processing payments, verifying invoices and performing account reconciliations as needed.
VAT Filling - Ensuring all month end processes are actioned on a timely basis. Providing support and tax technical advice across multiple business functions. Participate in networking and business development activities including the formal proposal process. Traditional accounting experience. Detected and corrected mistakes early on and implemented systems to avoid recurring issues.
