Kyaw Phyo Aung

Dear HR Director/Manager,

My name is Kyaw Phyo Aung and I am 32 years old now. For my education, I achieved my MBA from Edinburgh Business School from the UK in 2020.

Regarding my working experience, I have 10 years working experience in the Retail and Food Service Industry. There, I worked in business development, sales operation and marketing function. I also have overseas work experience in Bangkok Thailand for 6 months. I am familiar with various workplace and management cultures. I also worked with Singaporean managing director and general manger before and I have many working experiences with different nationalities.

I am currently working as District Manager at one of the biggest Convenient Chain known as G&G which has over 400 stores across Myanmar. I am managing a total of 88 stores from 14 townships in Yangon. I have 6 deputy managers, 88 store leaders and around 320 staff under my management. As a success story with my current job, we successfully opened 26 new stores during my management within 7 month and with my recommendation, 1 of my deputy district managers was promoted to district manager, 3 store managers were promoted deputy district manager.

Before that I also worked at CP Group from Thailand which is located in Myanmar. I worked as a Retail Store Manager. There, I developed the first concept of a fresh food retail chain in Myanmar just like in Thailand.

With the background of this experience, I would like to take the next step to learn and work in the UAE and hope to share my previous experiences.
