It has an extensive submarine cable network, a Tier-1 IP network, and has invested in several international markets including South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Tata Communications operates three business segments: Global Voice, Global Enterprise and Carrier Data, and Other Services. Wholesale Voice segment includes International and National Voice services. Enterprise and Carrier Data includes corporate data transmission services like international private leased circuits (IPLC), frame relay (FR), Internet leased line circuits (ILL) and national private leased circuits (NPLC). Others segment includes virtual private network, data centre, television up-linking, transponder lease, corporate Internet telephony (CIT) and other services.
