• Liaise with buyers for season and option planning.
  • Forecast season colors and color palette.
  • Create mood boards for presentation.
  • Participate in in season review meetings along with buyers to understand selling patterns.
  • Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors, and shapes.
  • Liaise closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market, and price points.
  • Good knowledge on fabric /counts and usage.
  • Create archive for new fabrics and best selling patters and shape.
  • Work with models to try out your designs /samples to ensure shape and size specs for operating market.
  • Create outfits from the samples for visual merchandising /marketing /calendar events


  • Graduate from any fashion institute, preferably NIFT.
  • 2 years’ experience in graphic /fashion designing.
  • Experience in adobe illustrator, and photoshop.
  • Experience in kids’ fashion designing and graphics.
  • Excellent conceptual and design skills.
