1.Maintenance Manager
Location: Dhofar Beverages & Food Stuff Company, Salalah, Oman
Position Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and machinery.
Coordinate repair schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of parts and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Identify areas for improvement in equipment performance and reliability.
Manage maintenance budgets and control expenses related to repair and maintenance projects.
Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and resolve any equipment-related issues.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose issues and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in a maintenance management role or similar leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on team management.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
2. Quality Manager
Location: Dhofar Beverages & Food Stuff Company, Salalah, Oman
Job Type:Â Full-Time
Responsibilities
Quality Control and Assurance: Lead the quality control efforts for juice, CSD, and water products throughout the entire production cycle—from raw materials to finished products.
Testing and Inspections: Ensure regular and thorough testing of ingredients, finished products, and production processes, including sensory, microbiological, chemical, and carbonation testing for juices and soft drinks.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including FDA, HACCP, ISO 9001, GMP, and any other relevant industry standards for juice, water, and CSD products.
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Investigate any quality issues, product defects, or deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaboration with Production and R&D: Work closely with production teams to improve processes, enhance product quality, and ensure consistency across all beverage types. Collaborate with R&D teams on new product development and improvements.
Sustainability Initiatives: Support sustainable practices in the water and beverage industry by ensuring the company follows environmental and resource-efficient practices in product development and production.
Audit Management: Manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Maintain detailed documentation for audits and inspections.
Team Leadership and Training: Lead and mentor a team of quality control specialists and technicians. Provide training on food safety standards, quality processes, and industry best practices.
Data Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Monitor key quality metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and suggest improvements based on data analysis to drive continuous quality enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of [5+] years of experience in quality control and assurance in the beverage industry, with experience in juice, CSD, or water production.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, GMP, and relevant beverage industry certifications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments (e.g., production, R&D, supply chain).
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in HACCP, Six Sigma, Lean, or other relevant quality management programs.
Familiarity with carbonation processes, water purification, and beverage flavor formulations.
Experience in managing sustainability and environmental initiatives within the beverage industry.
