Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming activities at the pool facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
- Supervise the pool from the correct Lifeguard positions.
- Remain on Poolside at all times whilst the pool is in u.
- Identify emergencies quickly and take appropriate action.
- Enforce and adhere to pool rules and admissions policy.
- Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards; enforces and adheres to pool rules and regulations.
- Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
- Follows emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency.
- Inspects facilities for cleanliness; completes general pool cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Maintains order in the pool and adjoining areas.
- Responsible for the availability and safekeeping of emergency equipment (rescue tubes, backboard, signs and other equipment’s).
- Determines chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit, and record readings.
- Provides general information on pool operation to patrons.
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned.

- Inspect pool for cleanliness.
- Be fully aware of the contents of the PSOP & act accordingly.
