Description:
We’re Hiring: Accountant – Dubai, UAE
- Job Details:
- Location: Dubai or Sharjah, UAE*
- Salary: Up to 6,000 AED (based on experience)*
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statements & Reporting:
- Prepare and review Trial Balance on a monthly basis.
- Generate and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Accounting Entries & Reconciliation:
- Record daily accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform cross-entries and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions.
VAT & Compliance:
- Prepare and file VAT returns on time, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Keep updated with VAT laws and implement necessary changes in accounting processes.
- Assist in tax audits and statutory filings.
. General Accounting & Operations:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Monitor expenses, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide required financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
- Experience in handling audits and financial compliance.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and cost control is an advantage.
