Job Title: Application Support Consultant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary Bracket: AED 15,000 – AED 18,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing technical maintenance and usage support for business applications.
  • Ensure adherence to availability and capacity standards.
  • Keep superiors updated on issue statuses and resolutions.
  • Coordinate on-call support and problem resolution.
  • Stay updated on relevant technology and systems.
  • Track and ensure timely resolution of pending issues.
  • Provide support beyond office hours when necessary.
  • Deploy fixes and patches, coordinate testing completion.
  • Validate changes and guide users accordingly.
  • Adhere to organizational processes and standards.
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery plans and procedures.
  • Assist in the continual improvement of the Quality management system.
  • Maintain SOPs and documentation related to team activities.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred.
  • ITIL certification is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of Websites, Internet & Mobile banking applications.
  • Knowledge of Kony/Temenos Infinity Fabric platform required.
  • Knowledge of Progress Sitefinity platform is a plus.
  • Knowledge of app publishing and mobile device management.
  • Knowledge of Website Platforms and IIS administration.
  • Knowledge of .Net, JAVA & Unix shell scripting.
  • Knowledge & experience in MS SQL DB scripting required.
