Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing all front desk operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our clientele while supporting the dental team. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills will contribute significantly to the overall patient experience at our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming Patients: Greet patients and visitors with a warm, friendly demeanor, providing an exceptional first impression of our clinic.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our electronic scheduling system, ensuring optimal utilization of the dentist’s time.
  • Patient Interaction: Assist patients with inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Administrative Support: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism; manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Check-In/Check-Out: Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and payments are processed efficiently.
  • Clinic Operations: Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations, including coordinating patient flow and managing the waiting area.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies and dental materials; order supplies as necessary.
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with patients to encourage loyalty and return visits; follow up on patient feedback and concerns.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration or business management is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical environment; experience in a luxury or high-end service setting is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: Professional appearance and demeanor, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a positive attitude.
