TECHNICAL SKILLS and QUALIFICATION • Participate on the installation of Telecom equipment such as BTS panel antennas, Feeder, CPRI, RRU and commissioning of BBU in full support to the business demand. • Exposed extensively to the operation and maintenance of Radio Base Stations and various transmission facilities such as PDH, IPPDH, SDH microwave radio, AN, and FOC. As part of the Field Operations team, main task is to maintain the network availability 24/7. • Participate on VSAT / NIB testing and PM. • Performed routine check-up of the BTS power supplies such as battery banks, rectifiers and stand-by power generators. • Performs network related alarms PIM/RTWP/VSWR using test equipment. • Recommend BSS parameter modifications (Handover control, transmit power, neighbour cell list), antenna changes and equipment upgrades based on data analysis of network performance statistics. • Analyzing the collected data by taking necessary actions like giving Mechanical Tilt, Re- orientation of the Antennas, wherever required for solving the coverage problem for minimizing the Interference in the Network. Perform cell and managed object parameter modification for optimization. This includes frequency retunes, LAC splits, SDCCH modifications, LAPD signaling upgrades, addition of neighbor relations, measuring frequency adjustment, etc. • Escalate and coordinate with field engineers for onsite troubleshooting of remote nodes/RBS. TECHNICAL SKILLS and QUALIFICATION • Monitor and manage large-scale telecom networks including core, access, transmission and facility systems. • Perform real-time fault detection, diagnosis, and escalation to ensure minimal service disruption and maximum uptime. • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and cross-functional departments for efficient incident resolution and network restoration. • Configure, troubleshoot, and support network devices (ZTE, Huawei, CSU) across Layer 1– 3 infrastructures. • Use network monitoring and management tools (NCE IPRAN, ZTE IPRAN/MW, WIRELESS) for proactive network performance tracking. • Analyze logs and alarms, generate incident reports, and support RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for major outages. • Maintain documentation for network changes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and escalation workflows. • Ensure compliance with SLAs. • Provide 24/7 support in a shift-based environment to maintain continuous network operations. Supported routine maintenance, software upgrades, and configuration changes while adhering to SLAs and operational standards.
