- Responsible for Designing electrical systems such as lighting, power, A/C and motors. - Submitting finished electrical drawings for approval in the local department of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) as well as areas under the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). - Keeping up to date with the latest electrical building regulations. - Liaising with suppliers, clients, architects, and contractors. - Analyzing and interpreting data and information. - Recommending electrical modifications upon client last minute alterations. - Conducting site inspection based on the layout.

Company Supplied: Daewoo Engineering & Consultants Position: Pre-Commissioning Electrical Engineer  - Prepare and review of pre-commissioning procedures, checks, test, mechanical installation of electrical equipment in line with the cables and equipment layouts and single line diagrams etc., and supervise these activities on field.  - To ensure that inspections and continuity tests are carried out in safe and controlled manner.  - To ensure that planning, coordination, execution and follow up of all pre-commissioning activities are done in strict compliance with the specifications.  - Conducts conformity check.  - Monitor electrical device checks and testing.  - Electrical equipment checks and testing.  - Witness and participate in Vendor site activities  - Attending and generating punch list as a part of mechanical completion, checks and test activities.  - Ensure that there are no Category A punch list items at the end of pre-commissioning activities.  - Liaise with Construction and Commissioning teams as well as with the QA/QC to ensure that RFI test reports and NCR are closed out.  - Prepare progress reports on electrical pre-commissioning activities.  - Interface with final client to clear outstanding issues.  - Day to day management of subcontractor for electrical activities. b. Company Supplied: Al-Ajmi Engineering Consultants Position: Electrical Engineer (Consultant)  - Perform engineering evaluations and analyses, field inspections, design drawings, and technical specifications under direct supervision of senior engineers.  - Coordinate and monitor the work of all electrical activities and operations.  - Receives Request for Inspection (RFI) and Hold points from the Main contractor based on the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ) that apply to electrical works which has been done on-site.  - Review subcontractor’s change order proposal and shop drawings and prepare recommendations. c. Company Supplied: Electronia Ltd. Position: QC Electrical Engineer  - Serves as the QA-QC Engineer for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electricalworks.  - Coordinate and monitor the work of all electrical activities and operations.  - Liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project.  - Receives Request For Information (RFI) that applies to electrical works and the feedback will be directed to the designer for response and review them for adequacy.  - Review subcontractor’s change order proposal and prepare recommendations to a resident engineer for review and if warranted, assist in negotiations with the main contractors regarding changes in contract value or project duration.

- Construction monitoring including coordination with the project construction proponent regarding the project requirements for the general operations of all technical aspects. - Inspects the site procedures and quality of electrical works or based on scope of works. - Coordinates with relevant parties especially general contractors to ensure that changes to specifications and designs are identified and addressed at site level.

- Performs design assignments for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems such as fire alarm, CCTV, and other systems as required. - Prepares electrical design calculations for power distribution and normal and emergency load analysis and project cost estimates including materials and equipment canvassing. - Conducts research on latest electrical design and construction methods and trends including electrical code requirements, other technical manuals of electrical equipment and devices.
