My name is Rizwan Khan. To briefly introduce myself, I am a B.com graduate and Diploma holder in AIR CARGO Management which serves as a great evidence of my industry knowledge. At the Bombay Intl. Cargo Terminal, I served as a Trainee Cargo Forwarder/Receiver in the Import Heavy and Import Cell department for 6 months and I also worked as an Assistant Supervisor (Cargo) for NOVA AVIATION SERVICES PVT LTD. (Nas India) GHA FOR KINGFISHER AIRLINES (Pune International Airport) Pune, India. which have helped me to become an excellent team player and allowed me to acquire exceptional communication and time management skills.
At present, I have been working with Maersk Global Service Centre for the last 8.5 years. Here I have worked with the Customer Service & DG Operations department with different clusters, such as South Africa Imports, Singapore (DG), Malaysia (DG), Australia (DG) & Hamburg Sud (DG). and currently working with the Central Cargo Screening Team where my job primarily involves online scanning to identify the potential DG bookings and to identify if any prohibited cargo is mis-declared in the booking and to identify if any undeclared UN’s are booked in HAZ bookings. To Prepare Consolidated Weekly DG Scanning Reports for higher management.
Achievements
Generated Revenue of more than half a million by collecting Misdeclaration Fees.
Improvement in reduction of False Alarm in Safe Gate Tool.
