1. Review and analyze loan application form individual and business to determine their creditworthiness and risk level.
Recommend approval or rejection of loan applications.
Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to determine the risk of lending money to a borrower.
Assess the borrower’s ability to repay the loan, using tools such as credit reports, financial statements, and personal or business tax returns.
Monitor the performance of loans and take necessary action to ensure timely repayment.
Work with borrowers to restructure loans or modify payment terms if necessary.
Keep track of the branch’s overall loan portfolio to ensure it is well-managed and in compliance with regulation.
Collaborating with other departments within the bank, such as the risk management department, to identify and manage credit risk.
Support to other departments within the bank on credit-related matters.
Staying up-to-date with NRB guideline, economic, banking industry trends in order to make informed credit decisions.

Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products.
