1. Review and analyze loan application form individual and business to determine their creditworthiness and risk level.
 Recommend approval or rejection of loan applications.
 Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to determine the risk of lending money to a borrower.
 Assess the borrower’s ability to repay the loan, using tools such as credit reports, financial statements, and personal or business tax returns.
 Monitor the performance of loans and take necessary action to ensure timely repayment.
 Work with borrowers to restructure loans or modify payment terms if necessary.
 Keep track of the branch’s overall loan portfolio to ensure it is well-managed and in compliance with regulation.

 Support to other departments within the bank on credit-related matters.
 Staying up-to-date with NRB guideline, economic, banking industry trends in order to make informed credit decisions.
