Role Overview

Fair Platz Design is seeking a creative and experienced 3D Designer to join its team in Dubai. The role is designed for creative specialists focused on inventing innovative exhibition stands, retail activations, trade show environments, and experiential spaces. The designer will translate complex project briefs into visually striking spatial models, ensuring each environment satisfies brand objectives, budget limitations, and manufacturing standards.

Primary Accountabilities

• Formulate original 3D spatial design concepts for custom exhibition stands, pop-up events, and experimental temporary environments.

• Transform verbal and written client requirements into structurally sound, highly innovative layout presentations.

• Generate initial concept sketches, structured space planning options, digital mood boards, and aesthetic presentation materials.

• Produce photo-realistic 3D renderings and structural visualizations for client reviews and corporate bidding processes.

• Liaise directly with the sales department and client entities to revise design iterations using constructive critique.

• Maintain comprehensive awareness regarding modern manufacturing materials, eco-friendly installation methods, and presentation technologies.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Degree or formal Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, Industrial/Exhibition Design, or an equivalent creative discipline.

• Industry Experience: 3 to 7 years of specialized production experience building custom exhibition structures within the UAE or broader GCC market. Prior employment history alongside an exhibition contractor or direct event production agency is highly preferred.

• Software Competence: Advanced mastery of 3ds Max, SketchUp, and high-tier rendering engines (such as V-Ray or Corona) alongside standard design programs.

• Professional Attributes: Strong spatial reasoning capacities, effective multi-tasking skills under tight client deadlines, and polished English presentation capabilities.
