Description:

Agile HR Consulting is looking to hire Accountant for its client – a leading steel manufacturing company based in UAE – Sharjah.

Location: Sharjah, UAE.

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance

• Experience and Requirements:
• 5+ years in the construction field
• Possess strong communication, technical drawing interpretation, problem-solving, commercial awareness, and team working skills.
• Must be a resident of UAE.
• Must be immediately available.

Job Summary:

• Manage AP/Payroll processes company-wide.
• Record and update supplier invoices, ensuring contract costs are recorded per policy.
• Prepare payments, cheques, bank transfers, and BOE; process utility and bill payments.
• Record settlements for employee dues and reimburse petty cash.
• Reconcile intercompany and supplier accounts for audit.
• Maintain general and sub-ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and report daily cash balances.
• Create accounting reports for executives and provide information to external auditors.
• Optimize accounting systems, detect inaccuracies, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Consult on accounting control procedures and supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
• Investigate variances and determine adjustments.
• Lead various projects and recommend improvements to accounting systems.
• Oversee property, plant, and equipment accounting.
• Assist in year-end closing, audits, and record retention.
• Develop financial management systems and correct errors.
• Track and correct overuse of telephone, Salik, and utilities.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and respond to inquiries and solve problems for department managers.
• Salary: 4000-5000 DHS (lump sum package)
