Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Accountant with experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry to manage our financial operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling accounting tasks, financial reporting, cost control, and VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, profit & loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Monitor F&B cost control, inventory reconciliation, and cost variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, tax filings, and financial laws.
- Handle supplier payments, invoicing, and petty cash management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Reconcile daily sales reports from POS with bank transactions.
- Work closely with procurement and operations teams to optimize cost control.
- Assist in audits, financial analysis, and MIS reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in accounting, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in inventory and cost control management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling accounts for multiple restaurant branches or cloud kitchens.
- Knowledge of POS system integration with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.
