Accountant
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Arabic-speaking Accountant with solid experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Financial Statement preparation to join our professional team at Holistic Legacy Accounting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, in-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws, and the ability to prepare accurate and compliant financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Manage VAT registration, filing, and reconciliation as per FTA guidelines.
- Assist in corporate tax registration, calculation, and filing.
- Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of accounting transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support auditors during audit processes and respond to audit requirements.
- Communicate financial data and reports effectively in Arabic and English.
- Maintain compliance with FTA and UAE tax legislation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in a tax or auditing firm).
- Strong understanding of VAT laws, corporate tax regulations, and IFRS.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
