Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and general accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle VAT filings and compliance as per UAE regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Proficient in QuickBooks
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting regulations
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
