Hiring Accounts Assistant
Location: Dubai
Visa Status: Spouse visa holders preferred (not mandatory)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Preferably on a spouse visa
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience in the UAE
- Prior experience in the interior fit-out or construction industry is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports
- Record journal entries and reconcile bank statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoice processing and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions
- Assist senior accountants with audits, budgeting, and financial forecasts
- Ensure adherence to company policies and local accounting regulations
- Maintain an organized system for financial documentation
- Support VAT filing and other related finance tasks as needed
