Hiring Director of Sales & Marketing 5 star luxury hotel in Dubai.
Our client a 5* luxury hotel in Dubai part of a international luxury hotel group is currently looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing.
JOB SUMMARY
Job role
In this role, we will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within the brand operating standards and budget. I will work strategically with the General Manager to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them. I will maintain an overall consistency of the Company’s vision, quality/standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.
We will drive the right business at the right price to ensure the property achieves budgeted occupancy, rate and revenue. We will lead the writing and implementation of the marketing plan, contracting, setting sales targets by segment and by client and prospect. We will undertake advertising, sales, promotions and publicity initiatives and working with the revenue manager for setting rates and directing the sales and marketing team. We will Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our property . Marketing strategies and tactics will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and effective. We will revise and control my department’s budget so that all costs will be continually monitored and controlled to drive profitability, while taking into consideration the preservation of required standards with every decision made.
To execute the position of Director of Sales & Marketing I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Hotel or Business Management or equivalent and more than five years’ experience in the same or similar role.
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English. We understand there will be a requirement to travel for work-related meetings and events.
