Electronics & Armament Instructor Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce all safety and security rules, policies and directives.
• Advise the Chief Instructor on all course development and delivery functions.
• Advise the Chief Instructor on student progress and performance.
• Deliver classroom and workshop training in all Electronics and Armament related subjects for the UAE Army.
• Design, develop and analyse courses in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Prepare and deliver operator’s courses and technical evaluations to GMC technicians.
• Utilise coaching and remedial training methods as required to ensure the highest possible graduation rate and test scores.
• Serve as a primary and alternate instructor for workshop and classroom presentations.
• Practise time management in all facets of training.
• Ensure all equipment, supplies and computers are accounted for and properly maintained.
• Develop, maintain and continually improve instructional material including lesson plans, handouts and PowerPoint presentations.
• Attend conferences, workshops, demonstrations and training/education programs as directed in order to stay abreast of current trends in instructional techniques and training technology.
• Support other members of the faculty in fulfilling their roles.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
• Perform other duties as required by the Chief Instructor and the Director, Technical Training School.
Experience and Education:
• A degree in a relevant subject area is required, a bachelor’s is preferred.
• Graduate of a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of experience as an instructor in logistics/general subjects is required.
• A minimum of two years of military experience is an advantage.
• Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is an advantage.
• Excellent writing skills with aptitude in preparing studies, briefings or doctrinal literature on a subject matter is an advantage.
• The ability to conduct analysis and develop performance-oriented instruction and lesson plans is required.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
• Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
