Estimator – Construction Industry | Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator with extensive experience in the construction industry to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates, evaluating tenders, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Analyze project plans to determine efficient and cost-effective construction methods
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database covering materials, labor, equipment, and other resources
  • Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify potential savings
  • Prepare detailed BOQ pricing, including rate analysis and comparisons
  • Manage tender submissions, compiling technical and commercial documentation
  • Review and interpret tender and contract documents; prepare RFIs as needed
  • Present tender risk analysis and insights to senior management
  • Conduct quantity take-offs using PlanSwift and AutoCAD
  • Issue RFQ packages, follow up on quotations, and negotiate optimal market rates
  • Support project managers, engineers, and stakeholders with estimation insights
  • Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and evolving construction methodologies

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction estimation within the UAE
  • Strong analytical skills with technical understanding of construction drawings and BOQs
  • Proficiency in PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
