Role Overview

A growing catering enterprise in the UAE is searching for an experienced Head Baker to direct its large-scale commercial bakery division. This culinary leadership position focuses on managing high-volume production schedules, maintaining food safety metrics, guiding kitchen staff workflows, and producing premium artisan bread portfolios for distribution.

Main Duties

  • Orchestrate daily commercial bakery operations, ensuring optimal workflows across preparation, fermentation, baking, and packaging phases.

  • Direct, schedule, and train a production team of bakers and kitchen helpers to improve shift efficiency and product consistency.

  • Formulate, bake, and scale artisan bread programs alongside a diverse assortment of custom baked goods.

  • Implement strict food quality controls, ensuring all raw ingredients and finished goods align with corporate standards and local municipality health codes.

  • Monitor high-volume ingredient inventories, reduce product wastage, and align outputs with catering order deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Diploma or formal certification in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Domain Expertise: Extensive practical background in artisan bread production, automated baking hardware, scaling formulas, and high-volume commercial kitchen environments.

  • Leadership Traits: Strong supervisory skills with a clear, direct style capable of managing diverse culinary teams under strict time constraints.

  • Availability Note: This position is exclusively open to qualified baking professionals currently residing within the UAE for immediate onboarding.
