Role Overview

An exciting culinary opportunity is available for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a dynamic Asian concept restaurant in Dubai. The role is suited for a passionate culinary professional with strong expertise in authentic Asian cuisine, kitchen management, and team leadership.

Core Duties

  • Lead and supervise all kitchen operations to ensure smooth daily service.

  • Prepare and oversee the production of hand-pulled noodles and dumplings.

  • Manage work stations and high-heat Asian cooking processes.

  • Maintain consistency in food presentation, taste, and quality standards.

  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to improve performance and efficiency.

  • Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and kitchen productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

  • Coordinate kitchen schedules and operational workflows.

  • Support menu execution while maintaining authentic Asian flavors.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within an Asian restaurant environment; UAE restaurant experience will be considered an advantage.

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or relevant professional culinary experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong practical experience with hand-pulled noodles, dumpling preparation, and wok cooking.

  • Core Competencies: Strong leadership, team management, food cost control, and kitchen operational efficiency skills.

  • Requirements: Available to attend and participate in in-person cooking trials.
