Mechanical Design Engineer required

Degree: BE (Mechanical Engineer)

Experience: Revit: 5 – 8years (Consultant Experience in UAE)

Requirements

• Processing heat load, ventilation HAP and pressure drop calculations so equipment can be properly sized, as well as compiling calculations for submittal to clients, and local authorities for approvals.
• Select mechanical equipment for project.
• Design issues coordination with authorities
• Coordinating with Architect, Structural & MEP Teams.
• Coordinating with MEP Sub- Consultants for authority regulations.
• Coordinating with MEP Teams, for preparing tender and IFC documents.
• Design integrated Management System (QMS, EMS and OHSAS).
• Adhere to UAE rules and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in carrying out mechanical services calculations, such as (but not limited to) HVAC, Drainage, Water Supply, Fire Fighting and LPG.
• Design of HVAC as per local and international standards: UAE safety Code, ASHRAE Standards (Fundamental, System, Application, ASHRAE 6-1 Ventilation, ASHRAE 90.1)
• Design of firefighting system as per UAE safety code 017 and NFPA Standards.
• Design of plumbing system as per local regulations
• Responsible for carrying out design change requirements in a timely manner
