Job Summary
Teladoc Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support its growing virtual care services across the United States. This remote position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative clinical team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare experiences through innovative telehealth solutions. The successful candidate will assist with both administrative and clinical responsibilities, ensuring efficient virtual care delivery for members.
Primary Accountabilities

Review patient intake records for completeness and accurately transfer patient information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Schedule virtual appointments, manage patient queues, and proactively assess patient video readiness prior to consultations.

Obtain, verify, and document comprehensive patient medical histories, including current medications, biometric screening data, and preventative healthcare tracking.

Prepare, organize, and format EHR charts prior to patient visits to assist nursing and clinical staff with care plan preparation.

Maintain all digital health information in strict compliance with corporate privacy policies and federal healthcare regulations.
Skills & Experience Required

Education: High school diploma required; 2+ years of college education is preferred.

Credentials: Active Medical Assistant Certification is required. (LPN/LVN qualifications or ongoing Nursing Student training is helpful).

Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Medical Assistant experience coupled with verified customer service experience.

Technical Proficiency: Prior experience handling Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms and video conferencing software; strong computer literacy utilizing Microsoft software.

Operational Traits: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.
