Job Location: Al Ajban, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer with a focus on IT infrastructure migration projects (typically 3+ years).
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, Wireless Controllers, routing, OSPF, BGP, VPN, SD-WAN).
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from various vendors, such as Cisco, Fortinet/Palo Alto, or HP.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, solar wind).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills for managing multiple migration projects.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
