We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in pastry and dessert preparation, eager to work in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods to the highest standards.
- Support the Head Chef in the development of seasonal dessert menus and new creations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and commis within the pastry section.
- Ensure consistency and quality control across all pastry products.
- Manage stock levels, order ingredients, and minimize waste.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen (fine dining, luxury hotel, or patisserie preferred).
- Solid knowledge of both traditional and modern pastry techniques.
- High attention to detail and a passion for presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary diploma or professional pastry certification (preferred).
