Job Description:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors capable of providing high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing HVAC systems.
- Continuously evaluate market trends, pricing, and availability to optimize procurement strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure purchased materials meet required standards and specifications.
- Implement quality assurance measures throughout the procurement process.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Develop inventory management strategies to optimize storage space and reduce carrying costs.
- Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for procurement activities, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management to review procurement performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase activities, contracts, and vendor communications.
