Job Title: Purchaser – Ship Chandler (2 Years Experience Required)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Purchaser with at least 2 years of experience in a Ship Chandler company. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in marine supplies, sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchasing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase marine products and supplies
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of items
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for stock availability
- Evaluate suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ensure all purchases meet company quality and cost standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Ship Chandler or marine supply company
- Strong knowledge of marine products and procurement procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
