Description:

Hiring Registered Nurse (RN) – IVF

Looking for Registered Nurse (RN) with an IVF background, who will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fertility clinic or reproductive health setting. This role involves assisting with the IVF process, educating patients on fertility treatments, and ensuring the clinical procedures related to IVF are performed safely and effectively. The nurse will work closely with fertility specialists, embryologists, and other healthcare providers to deliver compassionate and skilled care throughout the fertility treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients undergoing IVF treatments, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
  • Educate patients on IVF protocols, treatment plans, and potential side effects.
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to patients undergoing fertility treatments, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during treatment and notify the physician as necessary.
  • Communicate with patients regarding lab results, upcoming treatments, and any changes to their care plan.

Assistance with IVF Procedures:

  • Assist physicians during egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and other IVF-related procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize equipment used during IVF procedures.
  • Administer medications, including hormones for ovarian stimulation, and educate patients on their use.
  • Help manage and monitor patients receiving IVF-related injections and medications (e.g., fertility drugs, anesthesia).

Clinical Monitoring & Documentation:

  • Monitor and document patient progress, including hormone levels, ultrasound results, and other fertility assessments.
  • Keep detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with healthcare regulations.
  • Administer blood draws, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests as required in IVF protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current DHA/ MOH license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Experience:

Previous experience in a fertility clinic or reproductive health setting, including working with IVF treatments, is preferred.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and patient needs simultaneously.
