Job Opportunity: Senior Logistics Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our logistics operations. If you have a solid background in supply chain management and expertise in managing inbound, outbound, and local logistics, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inbound and DDU shipment management.
• Manage export and local logistics processes.
• Control stock levels and ensure efficient warehouse organization.
• Arrange and book freight shipments effectively, including managing the bidding process for sea freight.
• Oversee LC documentation and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate the borrow and return process.
• Manage vendor payments and monitor logistics expenses.
• Handle document management and generate operational reports.
• Lead warehouse management operations to optimize space and efficiency.
• Make the department an effective cost center by optimizing costs across all logistics activities.
• Manage and minimize demurrage costs.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs and Port procedures.
• Proven track record in warehouse management.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, ideally in FMCG or a related industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
