Description:
Darwish Engineering Emirates L.L.C., a prominent main contracting company in the UAE, is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (Q.S Engineer) to join its Tendering & Estimation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about accuracy and efficiency in construction cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare precise quantity take-offs in compliance with CESMM / POMI standards
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, and prepare detailed cost comparisons
- Assist the technical team in bid preparation and project estimation
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to clarify details and suggest alternatives
- Identify potential cost-saving measures and resolve estimation-related challenges
- Report project details and updates to the Estimator or Estimation Manager
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in UAE or GCC building projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively manage tasks
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
