Hiring Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary:

Aisoftek Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support to learners, staff, and faculty members. This role involves offering first-level support, maintaining hardware/software inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of various audio and video systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to learners, staff, and faculty, both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Support physical and virtual classrooms, events, including requirements collection, preparation, testing, and support.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory regularly.
  • Monitor and maintain audio and video systems, including performing corrective actions as needed.
  • Support desktop computers, printers, scanners, and other end-user devices.
  • Contribute to special projects, including meeting business needs, completing deliverables, and documenting work.
  • Perform end-user testing to detect software defects and track results, errors, or bugs.
  • Log, follow-up, and close technical support tickets promptly.
  • Report information security incidents or suspicious behavior to relevant authorities.
  • Adhere to internal and local information security, health, and safety regulations.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field from an accredited university. Additional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, etc.) are a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Mac, and general desktop support.
  • Experience with end-user devices, audio, and video systems.
  • Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, and networking concepts.
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent customer care skills.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
