Position Profile

Galfar Engineering & Contracting is hosting immediate walk-in interviews for experienced Storekeepers and Material Controllers to support its expanding portfolio of industrial energy operations. These roles are responsible for managing, tracking, and auditing high-volume engineering materials across major Onshore EPC project landscapes, requiring deep familiarity with corporate supply chain databases and specialized industrial components.

Main Duties

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of technical materials across piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural steel disciplines.

  • Cross-reference incoming material shipments against project packing lists, delivery notes, and material test reports (MTRs) to verify structural compliance.

  • Input and maintain real-time supply logistics information inside SAP tracking systems to avoid inventory shortages.

  • Coordinate warehouse layouts, safety zones, and cycle counting workflows to facilitate prompt material issuance to engineering teams.

  • Administer preservation logs and storage procedures for sensitive mechanical and electrical equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Graduate Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of solid warehouse or materials management tenure explicitly gained inside Oil & Gas Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments. Onshore project exposure is preferred for Material Controllers.

  • Technical Savvy: High proficiency in navigating corporate SAP materials management modules and standard Microsoft Office suites.

  • Mobility: Open to immediate onboarding or possessing a significantly short notice period.
