Hiring Operations & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations & Logistics Coordinator, located in Jebel Ali Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves handling requests from the Operations Manager, processing job forms, and ensuring shipment documents are complete and accurate. Responsibilities include coordinating with truck suppliers, drivers, and brokers, following up on collections and deliveries, and updating clients on shipment status. The job also requires overseeing warehouse processes such as palletization and labour arrangements, maintaining shipment records, inspecting shipments for accuracy and condition, verifying supplier invoices, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. Flexibility to work across different departments as needed is essential.
Requirements:
- Must be native Arabic speaker
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, carriers, and team members
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in logistics or a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
