Job Vacancy Overview

Ducont is seeking an experienced, onsite Data Engineer to join its technology group in Dubai. This engineering role centers on architecting, deploying, and preserving highly scalable ETL architectures and data integration systems within enterprise network environments to guarantee optimal performance, data integrity, and system reliability.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Design, establish, and support end-to-end scalable ETL framework solutions and data streaming pipelines.

  • Build, schedule, and supervise automated data workflow orchestration structures utilizing Apache Airflow engines.

  • Code and optimize Python-based scripts to drive internal data engineering logic and system automations.

  • Configure, query, and manage data repository storage environments using MemSQL / SingleStore database technologies.

  • Configure continuous data replication sequences across mixed platforms leveraging Oracle GoldenGate tools.

  • Monitor, rewrite, and tune complex SQL queries to eliminate processing bottlenecks and optimize performance.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Professional Longevity: Between 5 and 10 years of verified technical experience running data engineering assignments.

  • Orchestration & Database Systems: Direct structural expertise with Apache Airflow alongside proven database management using MemSQL or SingleStore.

  • Development Background: Strong programming capability writing object-oriented data solutions inside Python.

  • Replication & Query Structure: Practical working background deploying Oracle GoldenGate data integration tools coupled with expert-level SQL query performance optimization methods.
