Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our growing team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for human resources, preferably with a background in dewatering or construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage HR databases and systems, updating employee information as required.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and information are completed.
  • Book travel tickets for employees and manage leave requests.
  • Print and manage monthly timesheets, calculating and updating total hours.
  • Coordinate with foremen and labor suppliers regarding labor issues and staffing needs.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, posting job openings, and maintaining candidate databases.
  • Process employee documentation accurately and ensure completeness.
  • Organize and coordinate training programs and events for employees.
  • Handle general inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
