AKS Prime Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Business Setup and Accountancy Advisory firm in the UAE for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant. This position is structured for professionals looking to enhance their accounting expertise while supporting an Accounting Manager with diverse daily finance functions, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and regulatory tax compliance tasks.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Record and post routine financial transactions into corporate accounting ledgers in a timely manner.

  • Manage accurate records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.

  • Perform routine bank and account reconciliations while proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies.

  • Utilize Zoho Books to handle systematic digital bookkeeping, data entry, and record archiving.

  • Assist with regional regulatory compliance tasks including UAE VAT registration, filing, deregistration, and baseline Corporate Tax requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors by compiling necessary financial records and supporting files.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proven capability navigating Zoho Books is preferred, alongside strong operational mastery of Microsoft Excel.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of foundational bookkeeping principles, basic UAE VAT regulations, and standard financial reporting procedures.

  • Interpersonal Traits: Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
