Role Overview

ARCHPIX Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join its on-site operations team in Dubai. This consultant-level role offers the opportunity to steer building services across a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and mixed-use infrastructure developments.

Primary Accountabilities

• Formulate comprehensive mechanical engineering designs, structural calculations, and technical layout specifications for HVAC, public health plumbing, building drainage, and fire protection systems.

• Perform complex engineering calculations, thermal load assessments, and precision equipment sizing using specialized simulation platforms.

• Coordinate technical designs smoothly with architectural, structural, and electrical engineering teams during cross-functional alignment sessions.

• Review contractor shop drawings, technical material submittals, and execution method statements to ensure compliance with project guidelines.

• Conduct regular on-site engineering inspections to audit physical installation compliance, generate field observation summaries, and resolve structural mechanical challenges.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. Professional Engineering registration or corporate certification is considered an advantage.

• Technical Mastery: Advanced command of AutoCAD and BIM software architectures (Revit MEP is highly preferred).

• Engineering Tools: Functional knowledge of specialized mechanical design systems such as HAP, Carrier, Beta, or Psychrometric Chart software.

• Language Skills: Complete fluency in both Arabic and English is required for project documentation and client consulting.

• Domain Knowledge: Firm grasp of regional local authority safety regulations, international building codes, and multidisciplinary design parameters.
