Role Overview

Solid Mix is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QC Assistant to join its quality assurance team in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards within the concrete manufacturing industry while supporting continuous process improvements across production operations.

Core Duties

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and address non-conformities.

• Develop, review, and validate concrete mix designs while preparing accurate batch cards.

• Inspect and test incoming raw materials and prepare detailed quality assurance reports.

• Conduct regular inspections of stockyards to verify proper storage and handling of materials.

• Coordinate material sampling and testing with internal laboratories and accredited external testing facilities.

• Arrange material submissions and sampling for Dubai Municipality and other relevant approval authorities.

• Inspect finished products before dispatch, issue product compliance certificates, and maintain accurate LOT numbering systems.

• Prepare technical submittals and prequalification documents for consultant and client approvals.

• Maintain organized documentation for internal/external audits, calibration schedules, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Open to both fresh graduates (entry-level applicants) and experienced candidates; experience within the concrete blocks or concrete manufacturing industry is a major advantage.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of concrete testing procedures, quality control standards, product traceability, and quality management systems. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations is a plus.

• Core Competencies: Strong analytical, documentation, organizational, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
