Role Overview

KABRI International Contracting Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable to join its finance department in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager or Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the successful candidate will oversee the entire accounts payable pipeline, ensure the accuracy of project-based financial records, manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, and streamline payment workflows to support large-scale contracting operations.

Primary Accountabilities

• Supervise the end-to-end Accounts Payable framework for all third-party suppliers and site subcontractors.

• Verify and input Goods Received Notes (GRNs), engineering payment certificates, and project invoices into the internal ERP architecture.

• Conduct regular account reconciliations with vendors and subcontractors, resolving balances or transactional discrepancies immediately.

• Govern project-level petty cash allocations, enforcing strict internal controls, accurate documentation, and formal approval patterns.

• Prepare and present consolidated monthly payment roadmaps, aging schedules, and cash outflow projections for review by Project Managers and Directors.

• Process vendor settlements in line with authorized payment distributions and issue formal payment release metrics across appropriate operations teams.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.

• Industry Background: 5–6 years of deep operational Accounts Payable experience specifically within GCC construction, contracting, or property development environments.

• Technical Frameworks: Thorough mastery of project-based accounting parameters, subcontractor payment architectures, and specialized payment validation processes.

• Systems Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and comprehensive hands-on familiarity running modern corporate ERP systems.

• Interpersonal Capabilities: Refined analytical skills paired with strong stakeholder coordination and collaborative communication traits.
