Position Profile

A prominent educational institution in Dubai is hiring a strategic Transportation Manager to direct its fleet operations and student transit services. The position centers on optimizing bus routing, ensuring total compliance with Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) regulations, managing transport personnel, and overseeing vehicle safety and GPS tracking systems to deliver reliable transport for students and staff.

Main Duties

  • Oversee daily school transport services to ensure safe, punctual transit across all designated routes.

  • Design, review, and streamline bus routes, scheduling grids, and pickup/drop-off points for maximum operational efficiency.

  • Direct, train, and evaluate bus drivers, attendants, and support personnel while promoting strict safety cultures.

  • Monitor fleet health, coordinating vehicle registration, routine maintenance schedules, safety inspections, and RTA permit renewals.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for RTA authorities, school management, drivers, and parents regarding transport policies, incidents, or route updates.

  • Utilize GPS monitoring tools, automated student tracking platforms, and transportation software to log operational data and transit reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Background: 5 or more years of hands-on experience running fleet logistics or student transport operations within the UAE.

  • Regulatory Mastery: Deep familiarity with RTA guidelines, UAE traffic codes, and student transit safety frameworks.

  • Technical & Core Capabilities: Skilled in route planning tools, GPS tracking platforms, and general office software; a valid UAE Driving License is strongly preferred.
