Role Overview

Agrivex is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team on-site at its Dubai office. This position is ideal for finance professionals who possess a firm grasp of local commercial regulations and have hands-on experience navigating the fast-paced financial operational demands of an active import and export trading environment.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Manage daily corporate bookkeeping operations and compile accurate financial records and baseline reports.

  • Oversee full compliance protocols in strict alignment with UAE VAT legislation and modern Corporate Tax frameworks.

  • Process complex financial transactions linked directly to cross-border import and export shipping pipelines.

  • Reconcile monthly bank ledger statements against internal corporate balances to ensure absolute balance sheet accuracy.

  • Assist senior finance staff with month-end and fiscal year-end closing strategies, audit readiness, and record-keeping.

  • Cross-collaborate across internal logistics and sales departments to resolve transactional discrepancies efficiently.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related academic discipline.

  • Technical Mastery: In-depth working knowledge of the Zoho Accounting software ecosystem is required.

  • Domain Expertise: Strong familiarity with regional customs/freight financial processes, UAE VAT filing structures, and basic Corporate Tax compliance rules.

  • Professional Traits: High analytical precision, excellent time management, and a team-oriented mindset suited for a multi-cultural trading desk.
