Position Profile

SIBCA is seeking a detailed and self-motivated Accountant to support its regional finance team in Sharjah. This role centers on executing end-to-end accounts receivable activities, maintaining ledger accuracy, coordinating billing collections, and generating financial reports. The chosen professional will play an important role in driving transaction accuracy and strengthening the company’s working capital position.

Main Duties

• Generate and issue customer-facing tax invoices, verifying all supporting transaction logs prior to processing.

• Partner with regional sales and operations departments to secure complete billing details.

• Manage accounts receivable ledgers, track outstanding balances, and lead collection efforts via telephone, email, and occasional client visits.

• Build monthly accounts receivable aging reports and supply accurate status updates to corporate leadership.

• Execute daily bank reconciliations and post customer receipts inside the accounting system.

• Support month-end closing procedures, coordinate with external auditors, and update client master databases.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

• Core Aptitudes: 2 to 5 years of functional bookkeeping experience, with a heavy emphasis on billing, credit control, and account reconciliations.

• Technical Frameworks: High proficiency in enterprise ERP databases and advanced functions of Microsoft Excel.

• Local Expertise: Prior experience navigating UAE accounting, VAT filing practices, and regional commercial operations is highly preferred.

• Interpersonal Traits: Persistent follow-up skills, professional negotiation capability, and clear communication habits.
