Position Profile

Nokione is urgently recruiting a skilled and independent Accountant to oversee its financial operations based in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). Tailored for a self-sufficient finance professional who requires minimal training, this role focuses on driving day-to-day corporate ledger activities, managing accounts payable/receivable, and enforcing absolute compliance with UAE VAT regulations and complex Designated Free Zone tax codes.

Main Duties

• Direct full-cycle daily general accounting operations, generating accurate financial statements and performance records.

• Maintain strict ownership over accounts payable and receivable modules, reconciling balances and tracking aging reports.

• Process monthly bank, ledger, and vendor reconciliations alongside structured month-end closing procedures.

• Administer quarterly corporate tax and VAT filings in complete alignment with Federal Tax Authority standards and JAFZA-specific Free Zone protocols.

• Collaborate closely with internal management to optimize operational cash flow data while meeting sharp bookkeeping deadlines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Technical Frameworks: Deep, hands-on operational proficiency utilizing SOP Accounting Software is strictly required.

• Domain Mastery: In-depth, practical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, specifically concerning Designated Free Zone transaction exemptions and compliance rules.

• Core Aptitudes: The capability to step into a fast-paced corporate infrastructure and manage accounting pipelines independently from day one.

• Availability: Candidates currently residing inside the UAE who are available for immediate onboarding are highly preferred.
