Position Profile

Cleantech Gulf is seeking a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join its corporate finance unit inside the Jebel Ali Free Zone. This structural position centers on driving the accuracy of day-to-day general ledger workflows, administering invoice matching cycles, conducting ledger reconciliations, and assisting senior leadership with payroll processing, VAT filing schedules, and month-end closing accounts.

Main Duties

  • Ledger daily double-entry financial transactions and ensure the strict maintenance of underlying corporate accounting journals.

  • Validate, code, and process incoming supplier invoices alongside outgoing customer collection receipts.

  • Execute weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, vendor statement audits, and client balance clearings.

  • Supply administrative data support during localized payroll production, UAE VAT calculations, and month-end closing activities.

  • Compile structural financial worksheets and archive auditable corporate accounting records under established compliance codes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent academic foundation in accounting and finance.

  • Technical Frameworks: Solid operational handling of Microsoft Excel for financial calculation spreadsheets alongside practical exposure running automated bookkeeping or enterprise ERP accounting software.

  • Domain Mastery: Practical comprehension of core accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping rules, and regulatory balancing procedures.

  • Availability: Immediate joiners located within the UAE are strictly required for this position.
