Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)

Position Profile

A to Z Car Rental is seeking a detail-driven Accountant to reinforce its financial operations team in Dubai. Grounded in minimum 2 years of accounting experience, this position focuses on managing full-cycle accounts receivable workflows, conducting structured payment collections, issuing client invoices, and accurately processing vehicle-related surcharges such as traffic violations, Salik toll charges, and municipal parking fees.

Main Duties

  • Generate, audit, and distribute timely, precise customer invoices across active vehicle rental agreements.

  • Monitor accounts receivable ledgers, analyze customer aging reports, and actively pursue overdue balances.

  • Process, cross-reference, and bill fleet-related expenses, including local traffic fines, Salik charges, and parking penalties.

  • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve billing disputes, and post incoming client payments to the core general ledger.

  • Collaborate with Fleet, Sales, and Operations departments to align billing metrics and support month-end financial closing tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

  • Professional Background: At least 2 years of core accounting history; hands-on expertise in fleet billing, collections, or car rental finance is a strong advantage.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and general ERP accounting platforms.

  • Core Aptitudes: Persuasive communication and collection negotiation skills, combined with sharp numerical accuracy and independent task management.
