Job Summary
Lifeline Children’s Services is seeking a structured Data Specialist to protect the integrity and operational accuracy of organizational datasets across its centralized infrastructure. Operating out of the Birmingham office, this professional will take charge of donor management files, financial transaction logs, and international or domestic client profiles while directly supporting cross-departmental staff with database system troubleshooting.
Primary Accountabilities

Input and update donor, client, and operational data variables across centralized CRM platforms to maintain data hygiene.

Monitor, verify, and upload incoming donation portfolios stemming from physical checks, ACH/EFT wires, digital payment portals, and corporate matching programs.

Isolate, audit, and merge duplicate or corrupted data records to secure precise organizational tracking.

Manage client profile setups, update operational templates, and align program workflows with standardized administrative procedures.

Guide regional directors and internal administrative teams on database utilization, data entry compliance, and reporting deadlines.

Liaise directly with corporate IT personnel and third-party software developers to engineer database enhancements and patch performance bugs.
Skills & Experience Required

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Core Competencies: High-level precision in numerical data entry, sharp structural analysis, and the organization required to execute multi-layered reporting timelines.
