Position Profile

SFFECO Global is seeking a analytical Design & Estimation Engineer to join its specialist safety engineering team in Dubai. The role is focused on conceptualizing firefighting layouts, drafting precise cost estimations, auditing project specifications, and ensuring all engineered fire protection systems strictly align with local and international civil defense safety codes.

Main Duties

  • Formulate comprehensive hydraulic calculations, system designs, and accurate material cost estimations for active firefighting and safety networks.

  • Engineer custom technical solutions that fully satisfy international and regional fire safety standards.

  • Parse client tender files, project drawings, and structural specifications to compile highly detailed bill of quantities (BOQ) documentation.

  • Partner with sales, procurement, and project execution divisions to align conceptual drafts with client expectations and budgets.

  • Standardize engineering drafts, schematics, and structural calculations to maintain high quality-assurance marks on all submitted proposals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

  • Domain Mastery: Practical design and estimating experience specifically tied to commercial fire suppression, sprinkler installations, and gas-based firefighting systems.

  • Technical Savvy: High precision in utilizing design software (such as AutoCAD) paired with solid mathematical and analytical pricing capabilities.

  • Core Aptitudes: Self-motivated workflow management, strong attention to structural detail, and excellent organizational skills when managing multiple project deadlines.
